About

Connie Conway is a Los Angeles-based fine art photographer whose evocative images capture the spirit and soul of the city. Her latest series, L.A. Collective, is a visual journey through LA’s most iconic and storied locations. Over the past decade, Connie has explored more than a hundred street corners, alleys, bridges, and rooftops, meticulously documenting the city from every angle to bring these scenes vividly to life.
In March 2020, amid the global pandemic, Connie embarked on a profoundly different creative direction with A Different Light—a powerful body of work accompanied by a short film, portraying an uncharacteristically empty and quiet Los Angeles. These images reflect a haunting beauty and offer a poignant meditation on isolation and urban stillness.
Connie’s journey with photography began in South Jersey, where she received her first camera—a Polaroid Land Camera—at the age of five. Her fascination with light, particularly neon, evolved into a signature element of her work. This passion culminated in the project L.A. After SUNSET, a striking series that captures Los Angeles’ dramatic visual transformation at dusk. In 2016, the project was published as a book, and her iconic image of Canter’s Deli now resides in the permanent collection of the Museum of Neon Art.
Beyond her creative work, Connie is deeply involved in the artistic community. She currently serves as President of the Board of Trustees at the Museum of Neon Art and brings her extensive industry experience to her role as a producer of commercial photo shoots. Over the past 25 years, she has produced campaigns for top advertising photographers and renowned global brands.
